Currently 2 Melba Youth Bible Classes are being offered as religious release options for Melba High School students during the school year.

These classes focus on studying together the Old and New Testaments of the Bible as well as spending time together in worship and prayer as well as learning practically how to live out our faith as the church everywhere we go.

2025-26 classes:

1st Hour (returning students): will be working through much of the Old Testament (Joshua thru 2 Samuel), the book of Acts in the New Testament, on how to boldly be the church according to the Bible, and a day will be reserved for the students to lead the class themselves in worship and study.

2nd Hour (new students): will be working through the book of Genesis in the Old Testament, the book of Matthew in the New Testament, on how to pray and be the church according to the Bible, and a day will be reserved for more application, worship and study.

The classes are led by Pastor Chris who adds… “Even though I serve as the Pastor at Melba Friends Church, this class is not about our church, but rather, it is about the worldwide body of believers who love and follow Jesus and it is about our place in that body regardless of the particular church family we connect with.  The students in the class lead devotions, prayer, worship, and they regularly practice important aspects of their faith like intentionally praying for and encouraging one another, and how to share their faith with others.”
